I bought a hp d110 printer today. i've connected it to my network. the printer has been loaded onto my mac. it works great if connected via usb port, but when unplugged it says the printer is offline.. The printer says it is connected on hp connected status, but when i go to print, it says it is offline. i am trying to print through our wireless network. both pc and printer seem to be connected to it, but can't print.. To check if your printer is connected to your network: mac – remove and re-add your printer: in system preferences, click print & fax or print & scan or printers & scanners; 5ghz only mode – hp printers can connect to the 2.4ghz frequency band but not the 5ghz frequency band. if you have a dual band router you must provide a 2.4ghz.
